DANBURY, Conn. – Wesley College junior guard Brian Cameron was tabbed as the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III South Player of the Month for February. It was the second time this season that Cameron has been honored by the ECAC as he was named the Player of the Month for December.
In seven games in February, Cameron averaged 31.4 points per game and 5.6 rebounds per game. He shot .575 (73-127) from the field, including 25-of-47 (.532) from three and 49-of-60 from the free-throw line. Cameron scored double figures in all seven games during the month. He tallied 30 or more points in five games including dropping a career-high 45 points in the Atlantic East Conference quarterfinals against Cabrini on Feb. 18.
Cameron was selected to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week and earned Atlantic East Conference Player of the Week twice during February.
After the season, Cameron was named the Atlantic East Conference Player of the Year and landed on the All-Atlantic East First Team. He ranks fourth in the country in scoring, averaging 26.6 points per game.
