Dover, Del. – The Wesley College men's basketball team opened up their 2019-20 season at home against Ramapo but fell short of the win 63-83.
The first two quarters were a back and forth battle with senior Brian Cameron leading the charge. The third and fourth quarters consisted of much of the same play and through Camerons impressive scoring with contirbutions from Braxton and Stefanides it wasn't enough as Ramapo's offense played lights out and their defence in turn shut down the Wovlerines.
Brian Cameron led the Wolverines with 27 points on 8-17 shooting. Cameron also added 12 rebounds in 37 minutes of play.
Mychal Stefanides totaled 9 points and 7 rebounds. Terrance Braxton added 8 points and 6 rebounds.
Greg Bloodsworth and Derik Charles contributed 6 points each.
Rob McWilliams led Ramapo in points with 26, adding 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
The Wolverines hit the road and will travel to Wagner on Tuesday, November 12th. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
