Men’s Basketball Now 3-0 in Atlantic East Play after Defeating Immaculata,  76-44

Immaculata, Pa. - The Wesley Men's Basketball team (9-7, 3-0), who are on a four-game win streak, have earned their third straight conference win on Wednesday, Jan. 15th after defeating the Immaculata Mighty Macs (5-9, 1-1) 76-44. 

Michael McCants led the team with a season high double-double, 17 points and 10 rebounds while going 8-for-12 from the field. Brian Cameron added in 16 points, four steals and seven assists of his own.  

Another big contributor was Terrence Braxton who led the team with 13 rebounds.  

Wesley took charge the first half taking a 17-5 lead with 13:08 left. Cameron and McCants led the team the first half, putting up nine points each. The Wolverines went into the half leading 32-17. 

Wesley dominated the second half again this time, putting up 44 points to Immaculata's 27 to take the team win. 

Wesley shot 44.9 percent from the field, 17.4 from behind the arc and 76.9 percent from the free throw line. 

Next up the Wolverines will take on the Marywood Pacers in Wentworth Gym on Saturday, Jan. 18th. Tip-off is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
