Dover, Del – The Wesley Men's Basketball team (10-7, 4-0) kept their win streak alive on Saturday, Jan. 18th, by cruising past Marywood (5-1, 0-3) 97-72.
Brian Cameron dominated Marywood by scoring 33 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Terrence Braxton put up 10 points, secured seven rebounds, and passed for five assists during his effort to help the Wolverines secure their fourth conference win this season.
In the last five minutes of the first quarter, Wesley's offense exploded while putting up 20 unanswered points against the Pacers. The team used this surge to keep Marywood from taking a lead during the second quarter.
Wesley continued to put points on the board the second half, outscoring the Pacers 44-39.
Wesley shot 49.3 percent from the field, 33.3 from behind the arc and 94.4 from the free throw line.
The team looks to keep their conference record spotless while continuing their longest win streak of the season at Cabrini on Saturday, Jan 25th. Tip-off is scheduled for 3p.m.
