Wesley Men's Basketball Ranked Seventh in the Regional Rankings

Dover, Del. – The Wesley College Men's Basketball Team found themselves in the NCAA Atlantic National Rankings last week, coming in 7th through February 9th games. The team currently sits 15-8 overall and leads the Atlantic East Conference standing tall at 9-1. The team has earned a first game bye going into playoffs the week of February 24th. The team will find out later that evening on the 26th to see who they will take on at home, Wednesday, February 26th.

For now, the Wolverines go into this week preparing for Cabrini on Wednesday, February 19th at 8 p.m. for their senior night.

Senior Brian Cameron has had himself quite the season as he surpassed 2,000 career points in January at Neumann. He currently has 2239 putting him as the second highest scorer in the Wesley College Basketball program. Cameron has also received six Atlantic East player of the week honors, along with being named ECAC player of the month for January and was tabbed as the USBWA Player of the week earlier this month. Cameron also earned his way to the Bevo Francis Top 50 Players to Watch list that was announced over the weekend.

Going on his fifth year here at Wesley, Head Coach Dean Burrows will appear on the Hoopsville talk show later this evening (Feb. 17th) where he will talk about his season, the conference and the region thus far and the things to come in the near future. The show is scheduled for 7 p.m.
