Men’s Lacrosse Edged By Eastern

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Wesley College's men's lacrosse team was edged by Eastern University, 12-8, Wednesday night in a neutral-site contest at the Princess Anne Complex.  The Wolverines are now 0-3 this season while the Eagles are now 2-1.

Tim Dougherty led the Navy & White with four points on two goals and two assists while Eric Crumbock found the back of net twice.  Patrick Lipari, Joe Donato, Scott Brozey and James Moss also tallied goals on the day.

After allowing six goals in the first half, Sam Kennedy relieved Matt Ryan (one save) in goal and stopped seven shots the remainder of the game.

The Wolverines are back at the friendly confines of Scott D. Miller Stadium when they host Washington College on Saturday, March 10 for a 1 pm faceoff.
