YORK, Pa. - Wesley College's Scott Brozey has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon. Brozey is the second Wolverine to collect CAC Weekly honors this season after Joe Donato did so on March 5.
A senior midfielder from Milton, Del., Brozey scored a career-high four goals in Saturday's, 7-6 overtime victory at Hood College. Brozey scored the game-tying goal to force overtime, and then added the game-winner in the extra session for the Wolverines' first win of the season.
Through five games this season, Brozey has tallied eight points on seven goals and an assist to rank among Wesley's offensive leaders.
Brozey and the Wolverines are back in action on Wednesday, March 21, when they travel to face CAC rival Mary Washington in a 3:30 pm faceoff.
