YORK, Pa. – Wesley College's Dan Tryon has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. This is the first time that Tryon has earned CAC weekly honors.
A native of Wilmington, Del., Tryon registered a career-high in ground balls in two-straight games, finishing with 18 in a pair of Wolverines victories. In a season-opening win over Immaculata, Tryon tallied seven ground balls, before picking up 11 in a high-scoring win over La Roche.
The Wolverines are back in action on Sunday, March 3, when they travel to Ferrum College for a 1 pm start.
