Funk Named CAC Defensive Player of the Week

YORK, Pa. – Wesley College's Kyle Funk has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. This is the first time that Funk has received a CAC weekly award.

In two games last week, Funk returned from injury and was credited with a team-high five caused turnovers and seven ground balls in a 1-1 week for the Wolverines.  Funk's top performance came in a 7-6 victory at Arcadia as the Street, Md., native, caused three turnovers and four ground balls in a non-conference triumph.

Funk and the Wolverines host Marymount in a pivotal CAC matchup on April 2 at 7 pm.
