ARLINGTON, Va. – Wesley College's men's lacrosse team dropped a Capital Athletic Conference game at Marymount, 15-5, on Wednesday night at Long Bridge Park.  The Wolverines now stand at 5-8 overall with a 0-7 mark in the CAC while the Saints improve to 5-9 with a 2-5 record in league play.

Marymount scored the first four goals of the game before Sam Seibert put Wesley on the board with 10:11 left in the first quarter.  The Saints, however, scored two-straight to close out the period and the teams played even in the second quarter and Marymount led, 8-3, at the half.

James Moss and John Chenault both scored goals for the Wolverines in the third but Marymount tallied five goals and scored the only two goals of the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Seibert was the lone Wolverine with two points while Ryan Ramsey led all players with seven ground balls, and Sylvester Tatman caused a game-high two turnovers.  Josh Dean struggled in goal for Wesley, stopping just three shots in 41-plus minutes before Sam Kennedy stopped four shots in the final 18:22.

At the 'X', Jack O'Neill was credited going 14-of-23 on faceoffs.

Nathan Beard led the saints with a hat trick while also dishing out an assist.

The Wolverines close out the season on Saturday, April 18 when they host Southern Virginia in a 1 pm faceoff.
