YORK, Pa. – Wesley College's Sam Seibert has been named to the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse All-CAC Team, it was announced by the league office on Friday afternoon. This is the first time that Seibert has received All-Conference honors and he is the first Wolverines to earn the honor since 2013.
A junior from New Castle, Del., Seibert was one of Wesley's top all-around players, leading the Wolverines with 28 goals along with seven assists for 35 points. Seibert's goal and points total were both career-highs. Credited with three man-up goals, Seibert also finished with 13 ground balls and a pair of caused turnovers.
Seibert had a pair of six-point efforts in 2015, with four goals and two assists against Keystone and closing out the year with five goals and an assist against Southern Virginia. He also had back-to-back five point games against Piedmont and Misericordia and notched a hat trick at nationally-ranked Frostburg State.
In three seasons at Wesley, Seibert has recorded 66 goals while dishing out 28 assists for 94 points. Seibert has also tallied 45 ground balls and ten caused turnovers. Seibert's 66 goals are 12th all-time for the Wolverines.
