YORK, Pa. - For the second consecutive season, Wesley attacker Sam Seibert was named among the Capital Athletic Conference's All-Conference teams on Thursday morning. A Second Team selection in 2015, Seibert earned the same honor in 2016, being selected as a member of the All-CAC Second Team.
Seibert tallied 39 goals and dished out 14 assists to lead the Wolverines in scoring with 53 points. The senior became just the fifth player in Wesley College program history to score 100 goals, finishing his career with 105. The senior scooped 30 ground balls and caused three turnovers as well. After several injuries to teammates, Seibert also filled in as the Wolverines' alternate faceoff midfielder, earning 26 faceoff wins on the year.
Seibert's best game this season was his last, in which he led the Navy and White to an emotional 11-9 victory over CAC rival Marymount on Senior Night. Seibert scored four goals, including the eventual game-winner in the fourth quarter, and dished out a pair of assists as Wesley downed the Saints in their season finale.
