Wesley falls to Stockton

GALLOWAY, N.J. – The Wesley College men's lacrosse team fell to the Stockton Ospreys, 16-5 on Saturday.

Five different Wolverines tallied a goal in the game. Leo Kelly, Joe Fingles, Josh Wassum, Zach Farnell and Nick Bruhn each put away a goal for the Wolverines. Wassum and Will Fingles each recorded an assist.

Alex Collins paced the defense with six ground balls and three caused turnovers. Bruhn added two caused turnovers.

James Cella saved 20 shots in goal for the Wolverines to tie a season-high.

Joey Tiernan notched five goals and an assist for the Ospreys.

The Wolverines (4-3) will be back in action on Wednesday when they face the Drew Rangers at Cabrini College. The action is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
