Wesley falls to No. 1 Salisbury

DOVER, Del. – The Wesley College men's lacrosse team suffered a 26-4 loss to the No.1 ranked Salisbury Seagulls in a Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) contest on Wednesday.

Hunter Coho paced the Wolverines with two goals. Joe Fingles and Josh Wassum each tallied markers in the loss.

James Cella made 16 saves, caused three turnovers and scooped up four ground balls in goal for the Wolverines. Ben Mitzel and Alex Collins each recorded four ground balls and two caused turnovers respectively.

Carson Kalama netted six goals and three assists for the Seagulls.

The Wolverines will hit the road for a three-game road trip starting next Wednesday. They will travel to York to take on the fifth-ranked Spartans in conference action. The game is scheduled for a 4 p.m.
