Men’s Lacrosse drops conference opener to No. 11 Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wesley College men's lacrosse team dropped their first Capital Athletic Conference match of the season, 25-3 on Wednesday to No.11 Salisbury.

Zach Weitzel, Carlin Fernandez and Zach Farnell each netted goals for the Wolverines.

Defensively, Zach Darnell scooped up four ground balls while Zach Farnell picked up three ground balls. Fernadez, Nolan Vesey and Adam Tewey each collected two ground balls apiece.

Goaltenders Dylan Sicca and Bryce Haraldsen split time in net and combined for 11 saves during the game.

The Wolverines will take the field again this Saturday when they travel to Fredericksburg, Va. to take on the Mary Washington Eagles. Faceoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
