HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. – The Wesley College men's lacrosse were defeated by the William Peace Pacers, 14-2 on Wednesday.
Leo Kelley and Kyle Mackall-Lloyd both tallied second quarter goals for Wesley. Kelly, Derek Hallock, Jack Guzman, Nick Bruhn, Ben Mitzel and Joshua Short all scooped up three ground balls in the loss.
Bruhn paced the Wesley defense with three caused turnovers. Hallock, Mitzel and Cody Loyd each caused a turnover on defense. Tyler Lingenfielder picked up two faceoff wins.
Dylan Sicca and Bryce Haroldsen split time in net. Sicca would stop eight shots in 42 minutes of work while Haroldsen would stonewall three William Peace shots in 18 minutes in goal.
Nick Falso finished with five goals and four ground balls for William Peace.
Wesley will be back in action on Wednesday, March 13 when they host the Western Connecticut State Colonials at Drass Field. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
