Wesley scored the game's first two and last two goals, but Ursinus outscored the Wolverines 9-2 in the middle of the game to escape Scott D. Miller Stadium with a 9-6 win.

Wesley College scored nine goals in the second half, but it was not enough after a one-goal first half as the Wolverines fell 11-10 at Greensboro.

Wesley College outscored Randolph-Macon 5-2 in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough as the Yellow Jackets held off the Wolverines for a 15-13 win in the season opener for both squads.

The severe weather over the past several weeks is still taking its toll on athletic schedules. With at least two feet of snow falling at Wesley, both Bob Reed Field and Scott D. Miller Stadium are still under snow and ice.

Wesley College Lacrosse hosted a Team Building and Goal Setting Day on Saturday. The event was hosted by Training Leaders Through Athletics, Chick-Fil-A and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Wesley College senior Nick Pisacano was named to the Preseason All-Capital Athletic Conference team by Inside Lacrosse Magazine.

On Friday evening, Wesley College will induct a record 18 former student-athletes into its Athletic Hall of Fame.
