Wesley Downed in ECAC Championship

ERIE, Pa. - Wesley College goalkeeper Nick Talarico (Little Egg Harbor, N.J./Pinelands) made 14 saves, but Penn State Behrend scored once in the first half and once in the second to capture the ECAC South Crown 2-0.

The Wolverines (12-10), were seeded seventh, and were the Cinderalla of the tournament, knocking off the No. 2 seed Penn State Abington and sixth seeded Stevenson to advance to the title game. 

But top seeded Penn State Behrend's (18-5-3) Aaron Meehl assisted on a goal by Corey Hamilton in the 35th minute, then scored himself during the 77th minute as Lions pulled away.

Dustin Walker stopped four shots to pick up the shutout for Penn State Behrend.
