BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater scored late in the 18th minute and it proved to be the difference in a defensive struggle as Wesley fell 1-0 to the Eagles at the Upper 90 Soccer Challenge in the Valley.
Gerard Miniaci scored unassisted at 17:50 for the game's lone tally as the two squads combined for just seven shots on goal in the contest.
Mark Mattern (Carney, Md./Kenwood) made three saves for the Wolverines. Travis Morris had two for Bridgewater.
The Wolverines will look to rebound on September 14th when Neumann visits Scott D. Miller Stadium.
