Men’s Soccer Routs Penn State York

YORK, Pa. – Wesley College's men's soccer team defeated Penn State York, 5-0, on Wednesday afternoon.  The Wolverines are now 3-1 on the season while the Nittany Lions move to 1-2-1 overall.

Will Mileski scored a pair of goals and added an assist while Eman Amao recorded a goal and an assist.  Shaune Gorman added two assists.  Thomas Franz and Jon Cianciulli also found the back of the net and Holden Wingate was credited with another assist.

Franz put Wesley on top, 1-0 as Gorman's pass led directly to the goal before Mileski scored his first of the day off a feed from Wingate to put Wesley up by two goals.

Amao's goal was assisted by Mileski to give Wesley a three goal lead and Amao returned the favor for the Wolverines' fifth and final goal of the contest.  Jus prior, Gorman assisted on Cianciulli's first career goal.

Ryan Sanders and Zack Baker combined for the shutout with each making one save as Wesley outshot Penn State York, 23-2.

The Wolverines host Moravian on Saturday, September 13 at 3:30 pm.
