DOVER, Del. – Shane Casey scored his first career goal to give the Wesley College men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Moravian on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Scott Miller Stadium. The Wolverines improve to 4-1 on the season while the Greyhounds now stand at 1-4-1.
Casey's game-winner came at 51:45 as he headed a corner kick into the right corner from Eman Amao.
Ryan Sanders made one save in the victory while Moravian's Brian Boland made four stops in the loss.
Wesley outshot the Greyhounds, 15-4, on the day and also held an 11-2 advantage on corner kicks.
The Wolverines will play their second game of a six-match homestand on Wednesday, September 17 at 7 pm when they host Virginia Wesleyan.
