Wolverines Co-Host Delmarva Cup this Weekend

DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College Men's Soccer team will host Randolph-Macon College and Hampden-Sydney College in back-to-back contests as part of the Delmarva Cup, co-hosted by Wesley College and Washington College.

Kyle Springsteen has been a pleasant surprise for the Wolverines between the pipes. The freshman goalie has recorded 9 saves in a three game span and received honors as the Capital Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week. He posted his first career shutout in a double overtime 0-0 draw against Eastern Mennonite University last weekend.

Wesley has scored three goals in three contests this season, with each coming from a different source. Danny Garza leads the team with three points, registering a goal and an assist. Senior Will Mileski looks to pick up where he left off last season as an All-Conference forward leading the team with 8 goals and 7 assists in 2015. He has yet to register a point in two appearances this season.

The men head into the weekend with back to back games as they face off Randolph-Macon on Saturday September 10th at 6:00 p.m. and Hampden-Sydney the 11th at 2:00 p.m..
