FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Junior forward Chimaobi Ikwuagwu was named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) First Team, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.

In 11 games and eight starts for the Wesley College men's soccer team, Ikwuagwu led the team in goals (8) and points (16). He ranked fourth in the CAC in goals and tied for ninth in league in points scored. He converted 2-of-2 penalty kicks and netted the game-winner against York (Pa.) on Oct. 18.

"When (Ikwuagwu) was able and healthy to train, we knew he would be a threat," said head coach Steve Clark. "He is dynamic, brave and draws the attention of defenders, which helps the team. As he learns to involve his teammates more and further develops his technique, then the future is bright for him and our team."
