Wesley Men's soccer comes up short in match against Lehman

DOVER, Del. - The Wovlerines took on the Lehman Lightning today in a non-conference match up that ended with Lehman taking the win 2-0.

29 seconds into the first half Wesley's Kaiden Fields gets fouled on and Matt Dina stepped up to take the penalty goal kick and unfortunately missed.

Not much action happened for the next 10 minutes until Lehman's Mubarak Ouro finds the net.

Matt Dina led the Wolverines with two shots.

Lehman would score again in the 69th minute of the match.

Coach Clark commented "the guys controlled much of the tempo of the game but didn't create enough chances. I give credit to Lehman who defended well and took the chances thrown at them. Our team and the season are still young, and we look forward to getting back to work on Monday."

The Wolverines are at McDaniel Saturday, September 14th. The non-conference matchup is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
