How it happened

The Wolverines continued conference play at home against Immaculata and came out on top with the win 1-0.

Coming home from a tough loss at Cabrini earlier in the week, the Wolverines persevered and played the game they know how to play, and it paid off for them.

Dylan Chi got a hold of the ball for the Wolverines on a simple pass from Daniel Morrison to score the only goal of the game, 1-0 to end the first half.

The Wolverines held possession for most of the second half and held strong defensively to keep the Mighty Macs from scoring for a game win 1-0.

Comments from the coach

"This was a great rebound from Wed lost, I love the character of the team and their desire to win. Their work ethic on the field improves every day. The final third we missed a few chances to increase the score. Immaculata is a well-coached team and kept battling but we battled to, and it showed. I am excited for the lads. We will enjoy the rest of the weekend and get back to work on Monday in preparation for Marymount on Wednesday".
