Men's Soccer Dominates Neumann in 5-2 Road Win

How it happened

The Wesley Men's soccer team finished off regular season play with a 5-2 win at Neumann on Wednesday night.

The Wolverines got on the board early after a penalty kick goal by Justin John-Langba.

Neumann answered back immediately with their own penalty kick goal for a tie game, 1-1.

The Wolverines took four more shots and two corners before scoring again by Andrew Schnaack from Daniel Morrison. Ten minutes later Dylan Chi found Joseph Esubalew to bring the score to 3-1.

Scoring continued in the second half for the Wolverines as Darius-David Robinson scored 45 seconds in unassisted, his fourth goal of the season.

Neumann fought back and was rewarded with a goal by Zach Desrosier, 4-2.

Wesley pulled off one more goal late in the second half when freshman Jacob Campbell took the ball down field for a Wolverine win 5-2.

The Wolverines outshot the Knights 19-12.

"Tonight's game was a nice reward for the lads who have worked hard this fall, the young team is growing together. Neumann is talented and will get a couple of excellent players back for the play-off game on Saturday. We will keep getting better but we must keep competing". Coach Clark.
