Men’s Tennis Improves To 2-0

DOVER, Del. – After dropping a pair of doubles matches, Wesley College's men's tennis team rallied to defeat Eastern University, 5-4 on Thursday afternoon.  The Wolverines are now 2-0 on the season while the Eagles fall to 1-2.

Wesley salvaged a victory at No. 3 doubles as Patrick Aruta and Kevin Mangini cruised to an 8-1 victory over Tyler Schultz and Codie Todd. The duo of Aruta and Mangini were also victorious in their singles matches at Nos. 4 and 6, respectively, as both went three sets.

Nick Barr took a three-set match over Herschel Dube in the third position, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 while Cochise Lucas's win at No. 2 singles over Tyler Schultz 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, clinched the match.
