DOVER, Del. - Wesley College's men's tennis team defeated Hunter College, 5-4 on Thursday afternoon at the DuPont Tennis Courts.  The Wolverines are now 4-6 heading into their season finale at Capital Athletic Conference rival Mary Washington on April 14.

The Wolverines got out to a quick 2-1 advantage after earning victories in the first and third positions.  Chris Maximo and Cochise Lucas were victorious over Luis Quintero and Bob Frischling-Sosma, 8-6, in the top spot while Kevin Mangini and Patrick Aruta defeated Binh Luu and Damen Ellingson, 8-4.

Need just three single victories to clinch, Wesley got those from Nick Barr, Aruta and Mangini at Nos. 3, 4 and 6, respectively.  Barr took out Frischling-Sosma in straight sets, 6-0, 6-2 and Aruta handled Luu, 6-2, 6-3.  Mangini also had little trouble by defeating Arthur Kapetanakis, 6-1, 6-0.
