Individuals Compete at UMES Lid Lifter
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - The Wesley College men's indoor track & field team opened its season at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore Lid Lifter in individual competition.
The Wolverines Chris Donisi took fifth in the long jump with a mark of 6.72, while Larry Beavers was fifth in the 200 meter dash in 22.47.
Wesley was one of just two Division III teams at the meet along with Salisbury, hosted by the Division I Hawks. Also competing from Division I was Hampton University, with Division II Virginia State and Vorhees College (S.C.) of the NAIA.
