McCloskey Earns CAC Weekly Honors

YORK, Pa. - Junior Robert McCloskey has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Track & Field Athlete of the Week, it was announced Tuesday afternoon.  This is the second time this year, and the first time in the outdoor season, that McCloskey earned CAC weekly honors.

At the West Chester Open Invitational last weekend, McCloskey won the discus and set a school-record in the hammer throw.  McCloskey's top toss in the discus was 40.27m while his 38.45m effort in the hammer throw broke his own school-record by over two meters.

McCloskey and the Wolverines are back on the track this weekend at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships, hosted by Frostburg State.
