Bundy Leads Track at CACs

FROSTBURG, Md. – Sophomore Matt Bundy won two events and finished second in a third to lead the Wesley College track & field team to a fifth place finish at the 2012 Capital Athletic Conference Championships at Bobcat stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Bundy captured gold medals in both the 110m hurdles (14.93) and 200m (21.61) while his 10.97 performance in the 100m was a personal-record and good for second overall. His time in the 200 also broke Larry Beavers' three-year-old school record by a hundredth of a second.

Robert McCloskey also had a great Championship meet, finishing fourth in the discus (41.70m) and fifth in the hammer throw (40.16).  His effort in the hammer throw on Saturday was also a school-record.

Also scoring points for the Wolverines was Will Seeley who placed third in the javelin (48.72m) while Richard Feeney set a school-record in the 800m (2:04.00).
