Bundy Ready For National Stage
CLAREMONT, Calif. – Sprinter Matt Bundy is set to run in the 110m hurdles at the 2012 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Fritz B. Burns Stadium on the campus of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps this weekend.
A sophomore from Media, Pa., Bundy's preliminary heat is scheduled for 8:25 pm Eastern Time on Friday, May 25, with the finals commencing the next day at 6:25 pm Eastern Time. The three preliminary heat winners will advance to the finals, as will the next best six performers.
Bundy ran a school-record 14.52 in the 110m hurdles to win the ECAC Championships last weekend and has the ninth-fastest seed time in the event. He is the only male athlete from the Capital Athletic Conference to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
