Bundy Clocks NCAA Qualifying Time at GMU

FAIRFAX, Va. - Sophomore Matt Bundy won the Division II & III race of the 60m hurdles in 8.27 and recorded an NCAA provisional time in the process at the Patriot Games Invitational on Saturday. This would be the second-straight year that Bundy has qualified for Nationals in the event should his time hold up or improve.

Setting a school-record on the day was freshman Will Scott in the 1000m Run (2:59.34) and a couple other individuals just missed out on school-marks.

In the 400m Dash, Carl Watson clocked a 53.29, missing out on the record by .28 seconds, while fellow freshman Alex Costley finished the 500m Dash in 1:12.15. To close out the night, Costley ran a 53 second split in the 4x400m Relay.

Wesley returns to the track next weekend at the Frank Colden Invitational on February 2, starting at 9 am.
