Men's Track Shows Well at Millersville Metrics

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - A school-record in 4x400m Relay highlighted the Wesley College men's track & field team's day at the Millersville Metrics on Saturday.  The Wolverines total 28 points on the day.

The relay team of Alex Costley, Maurice Reyes, Matt Bundy and Will Scott finished the 4x400 in 3:33.73, shaving over two tenths of a second off the three-year old record set at the CAC Championships.

Bundy also won the 110m hurdles in 15.43 and was a part of the 4x100m Relay team that finished third in 43.63.  Robert Wiggs led off the relay, followed by De'Vaughn Trader, Bundy and Tahir Carr.

Both Wiggs and Trader scored in the long jump, with Wiggs placing second in 21-07.25, and Trader seventh in 20-04.25.

Trader also finished eighth in the triple jump (39-05.25) while Rob McCloskey took eighth in the discus (133-10).

The Wolverines return to the track on April 13 at the Loyola/Hopkins Invitational.
