Bundy Leads Men's Track at Gwynedd-Mercy

GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - Matt Bundy won the 110m hurdles and helped the 4x400m Relay to a victory and school-record to lead the Wesley College men's track & field team at the Gwynedd-Mercy Twilight Invitational on Wednesday night.

A junior from Media, Pa., Bundy won the 110m hurdles in 14.81 which is an NCAA provisional time and ran the third leg of the 4x400m Relay.  The squad of Bundy, Alex Costley, Robert Wiggs and Will Scott finished the relay in 3:28.01, shattering the old school-record by 5.7 seconds.  Bundy, along with Wiggs, De'Vaughn Trader and Tahir Carr also placed second in the 4x100m Relay (43.35).

Carr and Ford also turned in solid performances in the 100m Dash and Shot Put, respectively.  Carr placed sixth in the 100m in 11.54, while Ford turned in a school-record 42' 9.5" toss in the shot put to finish fourth. Ford broke Travis Douglas' three-year-old record by over two feet.

Robert McCloskey also finished second in the discus (129' 9") and Zachary Taylor took fifth in the triple jump (41' 0.5").
