YORK, Pa. – Wesley College's Dominic McAnulty has been named the capital Athletic Conference men's Track Athlete of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon. This is the first weekly honor of any kind in McAnulty's career.
A freshman from Rising Sun, Md., McAnulty placed sixth out of 45 runners at the Sam Howell Invitational, hosted by Princeton University over the weekend in a school-record 49.05. His performance was tops among all non-Division I runners at the meet and is currently the 13th best time in the nation.
McAnulty and the Wolverines return to the track on Saturday, April 12 for the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational in Baltimore, Md. Three days later, the Wolverines will make the two-mile trek for the Delaware State Invitational.
