DELAWARE, Ohio – Wesley College's men's track team will showcase its young, sprinting depth on the Nation's largest stage as the Wolverines 4x100m and 4x400m Relay teams will compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University on May 22-24, it was announced on Sunday morning.

This is by far the most student-athletes that Wesley has sent to any NCAA Track & Field Championships as the Wolverines have only sent one athlete in several years.  It is also the first time that a Capital Athletic Conference school has sent both of their relays to the national Championship.

Seeded seventh going into the Meet, the 4x100m Relay squad consists of all freshmen with Patrick Schlosser, DaJahn Lowery, Markael Jenkins and Felton, Del., native Johnny Crenshaw.  Jenkins, who is also the 4x400m Relay alternate, also qualified for Nationals in the 60m Dash during the Indoor season while fellow freshman Noel Spencer is listed as the alternate in the 4x100m Relay.  Wesley's time of 41.20 was set at the 2014 CAC Championships held at Christopher Newport University.

Schlosser, a native of Montgomery Village, Md., is also a member of the Wolverines 4x400m Relay which consists of classmates and Wilmington, Del., natives Evan Le'Mon and Anthony Brinkley, as well as junior Carlton Sheppard, who is also in his first year at Wesley.  Entering the Championship seeded 16th, Wesley's qualifying time of 3:14.92 was set at the Coppin State Invitational.

Other teams that are sending both their 4x100 and 4x400m Relays to Nationals are Wisconsin-Lacrosse, Augustana (Ill.), Redlands (Calif.), Monmouth (Ill.), Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Mount Union and Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The preliminaries of the 4x100m Relay is slated for Thursday, May 22 at 5:45 pm while the 4x400m Relay prelims will go off at approximately 9:10 pm later that night.  Should Wesley advance to the finals with top eight preliminary times in either event, the 4x100m Final is scheduled for 1:50 pm on Saturday, May 24 while the 4x400m Relay would close out the National Championship at 5:35 pm later that night.

More information regarding a live video broadcast will be available at a later time.
