Bundy, Lowery Lead Men’s Track at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior Matt Bundy bested all college athletes in the 60m hurdles and sophomore DaJahn Lowery ran one of the Nation's top times in the 60m Dash to lead the Wesley College track & field team at the Tiger Open hosted by Princeton University on Saturday.

A native of Media, Pa., Bundy took third overall in the hurdles in 8.22 (5th-fastest in Nation) , just behind a pair of professional runners from Adidas.  Lowery took sixth overall in his event in 7.01 but his 6.98 preliminary time is the 12th-best time in the nation.

Closing out the day was the 4x400m Relay team of sophomores Dominic McAnulty and Anthony Brinkley, along with freshmen Urgy Eado and Vicco Bedell.  The combo took third overall, just behind the host Tigers and Coppin State in 3:25.08.

In other events, De'Vaughn Trader took ninth in the long jump (20-0.25") and McAnulty took ninth in the 500m (1:09.69).

Wesley returns to the track next weekend at the Patriot Games hosted by George Mason University.
