Bundy, Lowery Qualify for Finals at ECAC Championships

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Matt Bundy and DaJahn Lowery advanced to the finals in their respective events as the Wesley College men's track & field team competed in the first day of the ECAC Championships on Friday afternoon at the New Balance Track & Field Center. 

A senior from Media, Pa., Bundy won his heat in the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.28 and is the third seed in tomorrow's final which is set for 10:37 am. Freshman Roland Attoh-Okine finished in 8.43, just missing out on qualifying for finals by one-hundredth of a second.

Lowery, a sophomore from Suitland, Md., will be the fifth seed in tomorrow's 60m dash final after qualifying in 6.94 in today's preliminary.  His final on Saturday is set for 11:40 am.  Greg Taylor also competed in the 60m dash this afternoon and took 15th of 32 runners in 7.10.

Also set to compete tomorrow are freshman Urgy Eado in the Mile (11:10 am), De'Vaughn Trader in the long jump (10:45 am), and the 4x400m Relay (3:25 pm).
