#25 Men's Track Impressive Against Nation's Best at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The 4x200m Relay for the No. 25 Wesley College men's track & field team finished 12th of 44 squads and tops among non Division I schools at the historic Penn Relays at Franklin Field on Friday afternoon.  

The Wolverines took third in their heat in a school-record 1:26.69, falling just 1.4 seconds behind Texas and just over a second behind Boston University.

Making up the record-breaking relay that defeated teams including Delaware State, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Delaware and Missouri, was DaJahn Lowery, Vicco Bedell, Matt Bundy and Dominic McAnulty.  

Bundy, Bedell and McAnulty also ran the first three legs of the sprint medley relay that finished 28th of 38 schools in 3:32.98.  Joining the trio on the anchor leg was Urgy Eado.  The SMR was narrowly defeated by NC State but Indiana, South Carolina and Missouri were among the teams the Navy & White beat.

The Wolverines will be in Newark, Del., on Saturday, April 25 for the Delaware Classic.
