DOVER, Del. - Wesley College's men's track & field team competed in a couple final qualifying meets over Mother's Day weekend in hopes to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships later this month.
Among the highlights were the 4x100m Relay of Patrick Schlosser, DaJahn Lowery, Vicco Bedell and Greg Taylor clocking a 41.12 at the Coppin State Invitational on Friday, which is currently fourth in the Nation.
Schlosser also led off the 4x400 Relay at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier on Monday afternoon which finished in a Capital Athletic Conference record 3:13.48, which is also good for 4th Nationally. Following him was Dominic McAnulty, Matt Bundy and Urgy Eado.
De'Vaughn Trader also broke his own school-record in the long jump with an effort of 23' 9.0" at Coppin State which ranks 12th in NCAA Division III.
The Wolverines will compete at the Salisbury Last Chance on May 15 in their final meet before the National Championships on May 21-23.
