SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Wesley College's Patrick Schlosser won the decathlon at the 2015 ECAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a school-record 6,428 points on Thursday-Friday. Schlosser's point total ranks him ninth in NCAA Division III and qualifies him for next week's NCAA Championships on May 21-23 in Canton, N.Y.
A sophomore from Montgomery Village, Md. Schlosser won the 100m Dash (11.03), shot put (39' 5") and 400m Dash (49.61) the first day and the discus (140' 8") on day two. Schlosser also set a school-record in the pole vault (11' 9"), cleared 5' 7.75" in the high jump, clocked a 17.81 in the 110m hurdles and 4:32.79 in the 1,500m Run, tossed the javelin 155' 4" and traveled 18' 9.75 in the long jump.
On Friday, several Wolverines traveled in the Salisbury Final Qualifier. DaJahn Lowery broke a school-record in the 100m Dash with a winning time of 10.68, tying him for 19th nationally. His record breaks Larry Beavers' record of 10.74. Dominic McAnulty also won the 200m Dash (21.70).
Anthony Brinkley shaved a tenth off his school-record in the 400m hurdles (54.77).
