DOVER, Del. - The Wesley College Men's Indoor Track and Field team jumped five spots this week, to catapult into the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association national poll's top 10.
Wesley has laid claim to four individual qualifying times in the national top 10, and is currently the only team from the Capital Athletic Conference featured in the rankings. Anthony Simpson currently holds two top-five qualifying times in the 60m and 200m. DaJahn Lowery has cracked the top 10 in the 60m. Roland Attoh-Okine owns the eighth-fastest time in the 60m hurdles and the Wolverines 4x400m relay team, made up of Vicco Bedell, Carlton Sheppard, Nick Stenderowicz, and Patrick Schlosser is currently third in the nation.
The Wolverines will look to improve their standing this weekend when they travel to Oceanbreeze Track in Staten Island, N.Y. to compete in the ECAC Championships.
