Wesley competes at Last Chance Qualifier at Ursinus

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Wesley College men's and women's track & field teams competed on Friday at the Last Chance Qualifier at Ursinus College.

Elizsha Streeter led the women's side recording two first-place finishes at the meet. Streeter placed first in the 60-meter dash (7.89) and the 200-meter dash (25.87). Altogether, six of the seven spots in the 60-meter finals and five of the six finalists in the 200-meter dash were Wolverines.

Ashley Morris won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.14 seconds while Monshea Newsome-Murray took first in the triple jump with a leap of 10.93 meters.

On the men's side, Greg Taylor placed first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.94 seconds. DaJahn Lowery (7.07) and Terrance Mack (7.15) followed Taylor coming in second and third respectively.

Dominic McAnulty came in first in the 400 meters, clocking in at 50.02. Daquay Harris-Winbush registered a first-place finish in the long jump, finishing the event with a mark of 6.98 meters.

The Wesley men's & women's track & field teams will await to see if their marks during the indoor season will be good enough to qualify for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field National Championship, held on March 10-11 at North Central College in Naperville, Ill.
