NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Roland Attoh-Okine and the Wesley 4x400-meter relay advanced to the finals in their respective events on the first day of the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships hosted by North Central College.
Attoh-Okine posted the third-best time in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.14 seconds to clinch a spot in the finals
The 4x400-meter relay team of Elizsha Streeter, Quadira Minus, Briana Artis and Angel Hall are placed sixth in the preliminaries, turning in a time of 3:53.10.
Joseph Crenshaw narrowly missed out on advancing to the finals in the 200-meter dash. Crenshaw recorded an 11th place finish with a time of 22.13, just .05 second outside of the last qualifying time.
The Wolverines will wrap up the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships tomorrow. Jasmine Brown will be competing in the high jump starting at 2 p.m. Attoh-Okine will be competing in the 60-meter hurdle finals at 2:45 p.m. and the 4x400-meter relays begin at 5:35 p.m.
