EWING, N.J. – The Wesley College men's and women's track & field teams competed at the College of New Jersey Lions Invitational on Saturday.
Jasmine Brown collected three top-five finishes at the Lions' Invitational. Brown recorded a pair of third places in the high jump (1.60m, 5-3) and the triple jump (11.26m, 36-11.5). Brown also placed fifth in the long jump with a mark of 5.26 meters (17-3.25).
Greg Taylor and DaJahn Lowery placed in the top-five in the 100-meter dash. Taylor finished third (10.98) while Lowery finished fifth (11.06). Taylor also placed 17th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.84 seconds.
Rayshawn McRae had a mark of 14.22 meters (46-8) in the triple jump to place third in the event. McRae also ran the 400-meter dash in 51.31 second to finish in 21st place.
Roland Attoh-Okine finished seventh in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.29 seconds.
Terrance Mack turned in a 15th-place effort in the 200-meters, clocking in at 22.80 seconds.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Mack, Lowery, Crenshaw and Joseph Crenshaw tallied a 13thplace effort in the event (53.07).
Also in the field, Monshea Newsome-Murray placed 10th in the triple jump (10.86m, 35-7.75) and 31st in the long jump (4.54m, 14-10.75). Taylor Rae Danforth registered a 13th place height in the pole vault. Danforth cleared 3.25 meters (10-8).
The Wolverines will be back in action on Monday, May 15 when they take part in the Swathmore Last Chance Meet.
