Attoh-Okine places fifth in prelims to advance to NCAA final

GENEVA, Ohio - Wesley College junior Roland Attoh-Okine hurdled his way to Saturday's 110-meter hurdle finals on the second day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Attoh-Okine finished second in his heat with time of 14.39 seconds. That time was the fifth-fastest qualifying time amongst all the preliminary heats.

Attoh-Okine and the women's 4x400-meter relay team of Angel HallBriana ArtisElizsha Streeter, and Quadira Minus will look to capture national championships and All-American status on Saturday. Attoh-Okine will compete in 110-meter hurdle finals at approximately 1 p.m. while the women's 4x400-meter relay team will compete in finals at approximately 3:50 p.m. Live video and results can be found at gowesleyathletics.com.
