Cole tabbed as Atlantic East Runner of the Week for third time

LANCASTER, Pa. – For the third time in the outdoor season and second consecutive week, Wesley College freshman sprinter Kai Cole was named Atlantic East Conference Runner of the Week.

Cole placed third in the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the Morgan State Legacy Invitational. Cole clocked in at 10.46 seconds in the 100 and 21.05 seconds in the 200. His 200-meter time of 21.05 seconds broke the school record which was previously held by Anthony Simpson in 2016. Those times are the fastest times in the nation for both events.

Cole, along with TySean Cousar, John Heriot and Isaiah Bodie, finished seventh in the 4x100-meter relay with a time of 42.20 seconds at Morgan State.
