Wolverines Compete at CAC's

Frederick, Md. - The Wesley College Men's Cross Country team took 6th place at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Hood College today with 183 team points. Senior John Clarke (Middletown, Del.) was the Wolverines' highest place runner finishing in 35:05 good for 68th place.

Taking home the championship trophy was Mary Washington with an impressive 25 team points as their two top runners finished 1st and 2nd in the five mile race. Salisbury finished second with 38 team points and the 3rd and 4th place runners.

Wesley's second best finisher was Terry Harens-Walgreen (Shadyside, Md.) who completed the race in 36:01 to finish 73rd. 

This meet ends the 2009 season for the Wolverines.
