Wolverines Third at Delaware State

SMYRNA, Del. - Wesley College placed third at the DSU Classic hostedy by Delaware State at the DSU Outreach & Research Farm.

Richard Feeney (Bridgeton, N.J./Bridgeton) led the Wolverines on the 5,000-meter course in seventh place in a time of 17:12.27.  Michael Liegey (Huntington, N.Y./Walt Whitman) joined him in top 10, claiming ninth place in 18:00.00.

Alex Dello Buono (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) finished 11th, 51 seconds behind Liegey.  Terry Harens-Walgreen (Shadyside, Md./Southern) ran a 19:17.52 to finish 13th.  Mike Mango (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) rounded out the Wolverines with a 22:13.65, good for 18th.

Delaware State, who took the team championship, had the top two finishers.  Kouri Falconer of the Hornets was the individual champion in 15:52.21.

Wesley concludes its season at the Capital Athletic Conference Championships at York College of Pennsylvania on October 29.
